Media Literacy Seminar

Last 29th of January 2016, we had a seminar in our school (APC Auditorium) about “Media Literacy”, I have no idea what’s the "media literacy" thing is all about.
before the event even starts, they let us watch a somewhat very intriguing video all about the Marcos incident, the music that was used, brought a very intense feeling, that made my heart pound real hard,I gotta say it was really effective and the visual editing was breath taking, and the video was made by a 35 year old man named Baron Butchokoy (somehow anonymous),
and after the video was over,Ms. Kareen (Leader of APC Rampage)she talked about what we have just watched, she said, besides what the video was all about,as a ABMA (Multimedia Arts)student we'll make a video just like that, with all the complex and creative visual elements.
Then after that, she addresses the speaker, his name was Tony Tiemsin,he works at GMA network as a news editor
,and he also works at a Blogging website (Subselfie.com),
he started to talk about how to make a very fruitful story about the the daily happenings around the world, honestly I'm not the kind of person who can  sit for hours listening to a quite tiresome topic about the news,I myself have no interest in watching the news nor reading it,not unless I have to.so going back to the main topic, most of the seminar he talked more about the news, then he actually addressed about the secrets of the world of media,he even doubts and worries that he might over share everything about how they create and produce the news,he even prepared a powerpoint presentation to make things more clear.then ofcourse he talked more about his experiences at work, and especially with the famous news anchors he has worked with.
and then finally he entertained some questions that came from the students,it probably took like 10 or more students that asked him some question, and the other one even asked him about his private life.and I was like "Why the hell would she asked that???!!!"leaving me a blanked reaction.
